New City Afterschool

New City After School (NCA) is a program open to all youth who are in 2nd to 5th Grade, with special leadership opportunities for Middle School students (6th-8th grade).  The program meets every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 3:30 to 6:00pm.  NCA is focused on academic support, growing in faith, leadership, and learning new skills.  Here are some of things that happen at NCA each week:

Homework Help & Tutoring: Each day will start with each student working on their homework.  We will also provide tutoring for students who need help in a particular subject.

Small Groups: Each student will be in a small group Bible Study each week.  These groups will provide discipleship opportunities for students and encourage them to grow in their faith and knowledge of Jesus.

Clubs and Activities: Each week each student will participate in a club in a special interest area.  Examples of possible clubs include: baking, gardening, art, chess, soccer, jump rope, running, and more.
