Volunteer Opportunities: New City Breaktime

New City Breaktime is an elementary summer day camp for students entering 2nd to 5th grade. From June 26 to August 10, the program meets 10 A.M. to 2 P.M. Monday through Thursday. On Fridays there are field trips or special activities. New City Breaktime is focused on academic support, growing in faith, and learning new skills. Here are some of the ways you can get involved:

Tutors: Invest in an individual child or work with a small group. Help children practice and improve upon what they learned at school. Come one day a week or more!

2:30 to 1:30 Monday through Thursday

Van Drivers: We need help picking up students in the morning and dropping them off in the afternoon. Help us out one day a week or more!

9:15 to 10:00 AM, 2:00 to 3:00 PM Monday through Thursday

Field Trip Chaperones: Join us on a Fridays as we take the kids on field trips where they get to try new things and learn off site. We need drivers and chaperones for the following dates: June 30, July 7, July 14, July 28, and August 4

Have another idea?  Feel free to let us know!
