SUMMARY:Farm Volunteer Day
DESCRIPTION:Join our staff and partners from Ada Congregational Church as we mobilize their youth and our neighbors to finish major tasks at the Ball Site and split wood at our Farmhouse site. \nWork included at the Ball Site:– Grade and level water run-off areas around the parking lot.– Prep areas for native pollinator habitat installation.– Move rocks to help with water containment and erosion control.– Mulch newly graded areas for soil stabilization.At Farmhouse Site:– Assist with splitting and stacking wood for the upcoming cafe season.– Participate in winter clean up around the site including trash pick up and locust seed pod collection. \nThis will be a great day to shake off the winter blues and assist in creating a foundation that will benefit the team and neighborhood for the upcoming year.With questions or concerns email joanna@newcityneighbors.org
