This week, New City Urban Farm went to visit Groundswell Farm, and it was a really fun experience. We got to tour the farm which was a really neat and interesting thing. We thank Tom (the owner) for letting us come out and visit. As employees we appreciate it and would love to come back. While on the farm, we compared and contrasted different things that we toured. Groundswell Farm has more land tends to grow more food than our farm. Overall they did grow the same things you would typically grow on any other farm. The experience was very neat, and we got to learn about different tools we have never seen before. One that stuck out to us all was the Potato planter. That is a tool we do not have at New City Urban Farm and we had to know more about it, so the questions were rolling out about the planter. We thank Groundswell Farm again for the experience.
