Hello! My name is Rileigh and I am the manager of customer service at the farm. This is my second and last year working here. Let me tell you, it has been nothing but an amazing opportunity. As my time here dwindles down, I have started to realize how much I will miss working here. I tend to take it for granted, but once I sit down and think about it, this is probably one of the very best jobs I will ever have had. First of all, this place has an amazing mission. I love what they do and I further more enjoy getting to be a part of it! I have also learned so much during my 2 summers here. Not only about plants and vegetables, but also about myself and customer service as well as my faith. The daily devotionals have encouraged me to do them on my own time and I have not only strengthened my faith, but strengthened my skills in the field as well as behind the stand. Lance and Joel have been the best bosses anyone could ask for and they put so much hard work into making sure that we understand what we are doing but also making sure we are benefiting and learning from every experience we have. They also care about you and get to know you on a more personal level that makes for a much better workplace. My peers both years have always been so kind, are hard workers, and they are great at working as a team. I have grown to love and appreciate food and business even more, and I now know that I definitely want both to be a part of my life for a long time. The farm is definitely an experience I wouldn’t trade for the world, and I would highly recommend this job to any highschooler. I have learned so much and I know that I will carry all of this with me for the rest of my life.
